Step Motor Driver Cards Our driver cards have a simple "step and direction" interface.  Nearly any programmable device with two outputs can control a stepper motor with our drivers.  This includes PLC's, embedded controllers and personal computers. Our drivers can be ordered with opto-isolation to protect your equipment, 5V DC regulators to supply the opto-isolators or your controller board, and a variety of connector styles.  All drivers have on-board over-voltage, over-current, and over- temperature protection. Our most popular OEM driver board is the MM 2.0.  It features adjustable output current up to 2.0A per phase.  It has a compact form factor and an on-board 5V power supply is available.  The interface is simple, and we can create custom cables and connectors to integrate this board into your application.

Driver/Controller Card sets Our driver/controller card sets are designed for systems that require the integration of a complete motion control solution. Standard configurations offer 1 to 8 axes, typically adjustable up to 2.0A per phase at 4X microstepping. As always, other configurations are available. These card sets are fully programmable with on-board memory for stand-alone operation. On- board diagnostics are standard, and a self-test program comes pre-loaded in the controller's memory from our factory. The driver/controller combinations offer additional features, such as the ability to read optical home sensors for slip-detection, manual control features (like jogging), and discrete I/O for controlling other equipment.
